Template Obsession, Unnecessary Edits, Made-Up Info[edit]

Number 1: Could you please stop modifying the templates. They are fine the way they are presented and do not need correction unless a new vehicle/object needs to be added. On top of that stop adding objects that don't fall under those categories. Stop adding templates to articles where they are not needed. Also do not re-add templates or re-modify them.

Number 2: Please stop adding made-up info that was never stated by any source. Example: adding "anti-ship" to "Starfighter" when its only been classified as a Starfighter. The "Anti-ship" role is covered under the "starfighter" article and doesn't needed to be stated twice.

Seriously, try to understand that your edits are generating complaints and have been reverted many times. So please cease from making these unnecessary changes. Thanks.--Killamint [Comm|Files] 07:43, 27 November 2012 (EST)

Further unnecessary edits will result in you being temorarily banned from editing. Do you understand?--Spartacus TalkContribs 10:30, 27 November 2012 (EST)
I do not deliberate add/create where they are not needed. I attempting to ease navigation for lore junkies like me who love to jump between multiple articles. Perhaps a "quick link" option added to additional related links the bottom of nav-templates (as was done with warthog variants). Nor I do not add made-up info, if the article or subject matter itself supports the edit. --71.160.93.144 14:46, 27 November 2012 (EST)
Never said they were deliberate, seems more like you have a misunderstanding of how the templates are supposed to be displayed. Also you cannot "personalize" the templates or throw templates on random/irrelevant articles for the sake of allowing "lore junkies" to freely skip to so-called similar articles. I'm not a template expert but I know better than to randomly toss templates around just so I can skip to a completely irrelevant subject. Majority of the time, these junkies will search for what they want, hence why we have redirects. As far as I'm concerned, you're doing the opposite- rather, you're confusing readers, such as confusing a space station for a ship. That is why these things are being said to you. Yes we want to make things easier for people interested in the Halo universe but not with those exaggerated methods. Also to add to made-up info, I also mean over-extending the meaning of things. If its a starfighter, leave it as such, keep it concise, keep it simple. Doesn't matter if "the subject matter supports it". Makes your edits come off as fanon when things like "anti-ship" starfighter is added to an article. Doesn't make any sense.--Killamint [Comm|Files] 20:26, 27 November 2012 (EST)
