Talk:Sentinel Headquarters

From Halopedia, the Halo wiki

I think it isn't just parts of this level that ended up in Sacred Icon, i think the "Sentinel Headquarters" is just the working title for the actual level. It looks pretty similar and the area in Sacred Icon kind of is a headquarters for the sentinels, hence the structure's name "Sentinel Wall".--Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 17:09, December 7, 2009 (UTC)

Alternatively, it was like Guardian (Level), a level is rejected and the ideas converted and merged into another map.-- Forerunner 18:52, December 7, 2009 (UTC)
Actually, Guardian was supposed to be a level but the concept of "ripping out a Sentinel's Eyeball and using it as a weapon" and reliving the "battling Forerunner construct" experiences was scrapped from the final development. This "Sentinel Headquarters" as pointed out by Jugus is just a working title for the level. Also, the level is dedicated to the Covenant side of the Halo Universe, hence why it is called "Sacred Icon" (Covenant's odd angelic title) as opposed to the "Sentinel Headquarters"(human's normal/simplistic descriptive title). This applies to all levels in Halo 2.- 5əb'7aŋk(7alk) 12:59, December 8, 2009 (UTC)

Is it really correct to have a page just for this? From what I've understood of the video, it was not said that the level was "cut" (Well, I've just watched the part of the video which is mentioned in the sources of the article). The way Marcus Lehto described it made me think that it was exactly the level "Sacred Icon", but with a working title. Imrane-117 (talk) 13:42, 27 June 2013 (EDT)
