Greetings...I am from the Jórvík province of Ænglaland.

start of Halo 3 theory

Halo 3 starts on November 3rd.

think about it...

the UNSC Dusk takes two weeks to get to Installation 05 when it followed Regret's assault carriers slipspace wake minutes after it jumped

it gets back to Earth in meer minutes after following the slipspace wake of the dreadnaught

now...when comparing the sizes and the stregnth of the slipspace engine......it would have been at least an hour after the dreadnaught left that the Dusk went through

it's also explained on how the Fleet were still destoying themselves

so...as the Dreadnaught got to Earth on November 3rd (explained how the Dusk got to Onyx the same day after getting back to Earth)......

then Halo 3 starts at the same day

then again...I don't have Halo: Uprising....so I don't know if it's all set on one day there or a couple of hours

Bungie's recently released timeline of events is inaccurate. It says that it took the Forerunner Dreadnought five days to get from Installation 05 to the Sol system. However, the UNSC Dusk followed the Dreadnaughts slipspace wake to Earth, and then to Onyx on the same day.
