The guy is a 343 employee based off this. Also it did the same thing to me where it wouldn't show up after clicking the link, but I refreshed the page and that solved the problem. After checking over the source, I looked backed at the conversation they were having and they were making up names for the possible vehicle (one being elephant 2.0), and this guy came in and said "How about the Mammoth? ;)". Not the best source honestly, and could be a candidate for deletion (despite my contributions) since this isn't a significant source. --Killamint KillaEX 13:39, 28 June 2012 (EDT)

That's Dave Ellis', Spartan Ops designer, account on NeoGAF. While it could be taken as gospel, the fact that it was just a passing comment kinda removes the validity of the source. I'm sure that this vehicle will be called the Mammoth as with many others, but for now, it will be given a bland unidentified name. Grizzlei ♥ ツ

This name has been hinted at in the 6.13.12 bulletin, in the first few paragraphs it says “some” means “Mammoth”, and later when Frank O' Connor was asked about the number of vehicles in the game, he replied "Some.". While this could just mean that there are many vehicles in the game, the fact that "Mammoth" was capitalized in the bulletin suggests that it is the name of something. The reappearance of the word from a 343i employee when talking about vehicles seems to be a strong indicator. I say we leave it. -- DarkAuk 15:23, 28 June 2012 (EDT)
