Confirmed to be Strident-class Heavy Frigate

This class is said to be part of the Strident-class in the most recent Halo Bulletin, any chance this will be merged with the Strident-class Heavy Frigate page? (Source: https://blogs.halowaypoint.com/en-us/blogs/headlines/posts/the-halo-bulletin-5-14-14 Knowledge Drop: Community Q&A section) --1-10 (talk) 21:25, 14 May 2014 (EDT)

Support.svg Support - Yeah, I always thought they were the same, but now it is seemingly confirmed. The differences between the two classes could possibly be due to the fact that 343i did not intend for the players to really examine the ships. - NightHammer (talk) 21:31, 14 May 2014 (EDT)
Comment Picture.png Comment Now should we merge the Talk Pages for the two as well? --1-10 (talk) 21:44, 14 May 2014 (EDT)
Support.svg Support Forgot to do this as well --1-10 (talk) 21:49, 14 May 2014 (EDT)
Yes, it's best to consider it a low-rez version of the Strident model even though it came first. I was hoping I could use these class names in my scale chart update happening hopefully soon. I had the silhouettes and was waiting on 343i to give me the go-ahead to use the names in the chart. I really didn't want to use the game's mesh names (t_unsc_ship_01, t_unsc_ship_02, and t_unsc_ship_03). The other two ships from Dakota were to be in the Visual Guide, but this mesh was not going to be in it as the Strident already had its own page and higher resolution images made for the Spartan Ops cutscenes. -ScaleMaster117 (talk) 22:47, 14 May 2014 (EDT)

An Anlace?

Is this confirmed to be the new frigate named by the Visual Guide or are we working by empirical evidence? The frigate seen in the leaked pages barely resembles an Anlace or a Strident.262VigilantGuardian (talk) 00:17, 30 August 2017 (EDT)

No Spiral Mount?

This new frigate, why are we assuming there's no spiral mount? It follows the same basic design of the other frigates. So I am assuming like the others it has a MAC cannon.262VigilantGuardian (talk) 14:58, 31 July 2016 (EDT)

Cause the Spartan Games person said so. In the source given.

So it isnt assumed friend. We have a source.-CIA391 (talk) 15:09, 31 July 2016 (EDT)
To be honest, I assumed he meant that it was mounted similar to how an energy projector (giving it some degree of maneuverability) is instead of being fixed on the frigate's "spine". --NightHammer(talk)(contribs) 15:33, 31 July 2016 (EDT)
I believe this should be 'spinal' mount, not spiral. The MAC is that weird thingy on the top of the ship. Rather than it being built into the spine, it's mounted atop the ship. It's a new class but I can't reveal the name as yet. -ScaleMaster117 (talk) 10:46, 2 August 2016 (EDT)
Yeah, it's spinal. Excited to find out more; I'm guessing we will with Canon Fodder or Fleet Battles. --NightHammer(talk)(contribs) 15:19, 2 August 2016 (EDT)
