Support Upgrades are exclusive gameplay enhancements featured in Halo 4.[1]
Overview
Support Upgrades are armor mods for the MJOLNIR [GEN2] armor that enhance a Spartan's combat performance in the field. They can be accessed through each Loadout before a match is started or during a player's respawn time.[1]
List of upgrades
Ammo
The ammo upgrade overrides the normal ammunition carrying capacity of the GEN2 armor allowing a Spartan to carry excessive amounts of ammunition loads.[1]
Awareness
The awareness upgrade adjusts the GEN2's HUD display mechanics allowing the integration of a default motion sensor into scoped weapon smart-links. Thus it provides a Spartan with basic motion-sensor data while sighting an enemy.[1]
Dexterity
The dexterity upgrade speeds up weapon reloads and weapon swapping.[2]
Explosives
The explosives upgrade alters grenade performance, increasing blast radius and decreasing grenade damage received by the player.[2]
Gunner
The gunner upgrade increases how long a mounted weapon can fire before overheating as well as the movement speed when the weapon is detached from a turret.[1]
Ordnance Priority
The ordnance priority upgrade offers more frequent ordnance drops to a player. It's only available in modes where personal ordnance is allowed.[2]
Sensor
The sensor upgrade increases the range and sensitivity of the motion sensor. It is utilized by stealth operatives and infiltration specialists, and provides heightened intel of all nearby enemies.[1]
