Dass was a middle aged, married, and overweight Colonial Militia recruit. He was assigned as First Platoon's squad A leader, during the Battle of Harvest near Gladsheim [1]. Later on in the battle, he borded the Tiara with the other volunteers. He got shot there by a plasma pistol shot, by an Unggoy named Humnum. When Humnum wanted to finish Dass off, Staff Sergeant Johnson rescued him and killed Humnum. Dass then entered the container and successfully fled Harvest. It is unknown where in the universe he was born.
