Dass was a middle aged, overweight Colonial Militia recruit. He was assigned as First Platoon's squad A leader during the Battle of Harvest near Gladsheim [1]. Later on in the battle, he borded the Tiara with the other volunteers. He got shot there by a plasma pistol shot by an Unggoy named Humnum. When Humnum wanted to finish Dass off, Staff Sergeant Johnson resqued him and killed Humnum. Dass then entered the container and succesfully fled Harvest.
