Talk:M1024 ASW/AC 30mm MLA cannon

Does anybody know what the acronym MLA stands for in this context? I've always wondered, but haven't been able to find out. Could someone please add that information, as well as the information on the ASW/AC acronym? And if possible, maybe add it to the M9109 ASW/AC MLA too?
