Editing

To get inside the longsword on Halo 3, first go to the level "The Ark" in theater. Then go to th crashed longsword. Then pause and click Y to free roam. After that there will be an opening in the crashed longsword. Go inside. There will be lots of flames. Also if you go forward in the longsword, there is a possibility you can get inside the cockpit.
