The S7 Flexfire Sniper is an experimental and modified variant of the SRS99-S7 AM sniper rifle used by the UNSC Marine Corps.[2][4]
Overview
Design details

The S7 Flexfire Sniper is an experimental variant SRS99-S7 AM sniper rifle designed for a focus on mid-range encounters. Its modifications include an increased rate of fire and an increased magazine size of 10 from the standard 4-round magazine. However, this variant is not pinpoint accurate and its scope only has one level of magnification optics at 2×.[3] It has additional yellow coloration on certain components, including the scope and the magazine.[5]
Usage
The S7 Flexfire Sniper was employed by UNSC forces during the campaign on Installation 07 in 2559-2560.[2]
In-game information
Halo Infinite
In campaign, the S7 Flexfire Sniper is a special weapon awarded to the player in the Forward Operating Base progression system upon reaching 2,900 Valor. The weapon can be acquired at any Forward Operating Base. It has an increased magazine size from 4 to 10, with each round dealing less damage, though it has a more forgiving accuracy with a larger reticule. Furthermore, there is only one level of magnification optics at 2×.[2]
In multiplayer, when players pick up or spawn with the S7 Flexfire Sniper, their customization options are automatically applied to the weapon model, and the unique appearance of the S7 Flexfire Sniper is lost.
