Tirk 'Surb was a Ussan Sangheili, who served as the head of security on the The Refugein 2552. A descendant of Erinicka The Scar-Maker, he was considered "conservative and backward-looking," by the Refuge's Kaidon, Bal'Tol 'Xellus due to his views that the Ussan Sangheili lacked proper religious fervor.[1] He would accompany Bal'Tol,the young C'tenz,and priest Tup'Quk, to confront a Blood Sickened, Oska 'Meln, going by the new name, Kinsa. Proclaiming the doom of the colony, Kinsa's threats were enough for Tirk to attempt an arrest of him and his followers. In an ensuing firefight that broke out, Tirk was killed when two arrows from opposing merc-missiles embedded themselves in his breastbone, and groin.[2]
