Halopedia:Article Improvement Drive

Article Improvement Drive is a community project to improve the wiki's content through bringing articles in dire need of improvement—from cleanup to content expansion and updates—to everyone's attention. Ideally, the list will be refreshed with a new set of articles every week as the articles are fixed; however, if given articles on the list have not received the necessary attention by the end of this period, those articles will be kept on the list until they require no further improvement. An article is considered sufficiently repaired when it is properly sourced, accurate, comprehensive and well formatted—in short, up to our general standards of quality.

Everyone is welcome to participate in the improvement effort or suggest new articles to the list on the project's talk page.

Articles for Week 22 / 2014

Mass edits

1. Category:The Covenant needs to be cleaned up, with the appropriate subcategories used wherever applicable
2. Template:Covenant Rank Infobox needs to be replaced with Template:Unit infobox in the relevant articles
3. The categories Category:Halo 3 rank insignia (the category "Halo 3 Ranks" should also be removed), Category:Halo: Reach rank insignia, and Category:Halo 4 rank insignia need to be added to the relevant image files (license templates should also be added; in this case, Template:Fairuse applies to all)

Single article edits

1. Sangheili/Gameplay: page needs general cleanup and information from Halo 4 and other recent content
2. Reclaimer Saga: requires "Development" and "Plot" sections to deal with the production background and give a summary of the story/thematic direction of the series, particularly in comparison to the previous games. This is to be a general, overarching summary and does not need to be as detailed as the sections in the individual game articles.
3. Adrift: page needs to be updated with relevant layout and gameplay information (see Construct for an example of a comprehensive map article)
4. Daybreak: page needs to be updated with relevant layout and gameplay information
5. Erosion: page needs to be updated with relevant layout and gameplay information
