Overview
The Revenant is a light infantry support vehicle with driving mechanics similar to those of the Type-32 Rapid Assault Vehicle. It is armed with a single light plasma mortar, which is essentially a downscaled version of the plasma mortar mounted on the Covenant Type-25 Assault Gun Carriage. The weapon can be fired approximately every two to three seconds by the vehicle's driver. The Revenant is more agile than most vehicles and has the ability to boost, but provides little protection for its occupants. It can carry one passenger in a side seat. The Revenant also appears to be a slight deviation from the Covenant's usual design scheme, taking on a more angular, burgundy look as opposed to the more bulbous, purple, blue, and iridescent green designs of other Covenant vehicles.
The Revenant is a lightly armored vehicle that is designed to provide artillery support for infantry forces. It is manufactured by the Merchants of Qikost, who derived the design from a primitive Sangheili vehicle. Due to its sleek contours, speed, and sturdiness, it is a well renowned product of the Covenant's private manufacturing sector. This stands in contrast to most Covenant military vehicles, which are designed and manufactured en masse by the Assembly forges.

Tips
The Revenant holds a niche between the Type-32 Ghost and the Type-26 Wraith, a "functional gap" that has been filled many times during the Covenant's history, usually by infantry support vehicles such as the Type-46 Spectre and the Type-52 Prowler. It has traditionally been considered the most successful vehicle in this regard. Unlike the former vehicles, however, the Revenant is designed to provide fire support rather than direct force deployment.
Campaign
*The Revenant appears in many campaign levels, but is only moderately effective at killing enemies.
The Revenant is very fast and maneuverable, well armored, and well armed. Like most Covenant vehicles, the Revenant owes its mobility to a boosted gravity propulsion drive. It is armed with a Class-2 medium plasma mortar; this weapon is similar to the plasma mortar utilized by the Wraith, featuring a much faster rate of fire though considerably lower firepower. The driver is seated in the vehicle's left seat, while a passenger can "ride shotgun" in the right seat, similar to the jumpseats on the Spectre. Though the driver and the passenger are highly exposed, the Revenant's speed and firepower compensate for this relative lack of safety.
*The main gun will kill most enemies in 1-3 hits depending on the difficulty and which enemy is being shot.
*As far as splattering enemies, the vehicle is slightly more effective than the Ghost due to its increased size.
*When fighting Wraiths in the Revenant, ensure that you stay around two Revenant lengths away. This distance ensures that the Wraith will not be able to ram you, as well as giving you sufficient room to dodge its plasma mortars.
*The Revenant is an effective vehicle for engaging Hunters from a distance, as it is quick and agile enough to dodge their projectiles, and its cannon is powerful enough to inflict damage upon the Hunters. However, Hunters cannot be splattered, and if this is attempted, the hunter will simply melee the vehicle away.
Multiplayer
*The Revenant's speed, durability, and power make it a great choice in objective game-types such as Capture the Flag as the Plasma Mortar can be shot by the driver and still is able to carry a passenger.
*If two people are in a Revenant, the passenger could be a great ally if armed with a power weapon such as a Plasma Pistol for disarming more powerful vehicles. Due to a glitch with the aim assist, a player with a DMR or a Sniper Rifle can get very easy headshots.
*Do not engage a Scorpion with a Revenant as its main cannon will destroy it with a single hit. However, the Wraith can be destroyed by a skilled player. Ensure that you circle using the boost to dodge the slower moving Wraith projectiles and attack the sides and back.
*Warthogs, Ghosts, Mongooses, and other Revenants can all easily be engaged.
*The Revenant is a poor choice for combating Banshees or a Falcon, as both can easily avoid the relatively slow moving mortar shots.
*The Revenant is one of the most splatter capable vehicles in the game, with both its sides and it's front extremely lethal, especially when combined with the boost. It is even capable of destroying Ghosts and Mongooses if it hits them.

Template:Vehicle Infobox The Type-48 Light Assault Gun Carriage, more commonly known as the Revenant, is a Covenant mobile artillery vehicle.[1]

Overview

The Revenant is a lightly armored vehicle that is designed to provide artillery support for infantry forces. It is manufactured by the Merchants of Qikost, who derived the design from a primitive Sangheili vehicle. Due to its sleek contours, speed, and sturdiness, it is a well renowned product of the Covenant's private manufacturing sector. This stands in contrast to most Covenant military vehicles, which are designed and manufactured en masse by the Assembly forges.[1]

Unlike the former vehicles, however, the Revenant is designed to provide fire support rather than direct force deployment.[1]

Though the driver and the passenger are highly exposed, the Revenant's speed and firepower compensate for this relative lack of safety.[1]
