The Revenant is an infantry support vehicle armed with a plasma-based weapon that functions similar to the plasma mortar mounted on Covenant Wraiths, but on a smaller scale. It is rather agile, but it is unknown whether the Revenant has a boosting feature.

It is known to carry at least two individuals; the pilot and a passenger in a side-mounted seat. The pilot has limited protection from small arms fire, a disadvantage that is also present to Halo 2's Spectre ground vehicle.
