| The '''Colony Form''' is a ''[[Halo Wars]]'' [[Flood]] structure.<ref>http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/strategy/halowars/video/6204958/halo-wars-video-review?hd=1</ref> They are seen in more heavily infested areas, and are attached to the [[Proto-Gravemind]]. When destroyed, the main building form becomes weaker. In the Halo Wars Campaign, the Colony Form cannot be destroyed by normal means, and instead can only be reduced to a dormant state which it will soon recover from. On multiplayer maps featuring the Flood, however, Colony Forms can be permanently killed.
