Not sure what you're getting at. For Halo 3, Bungie made only 2 models of the Dawn...one good and one split in half. Yes, this FFG-127 is the split-in-half Dawn. A quick look at both cutscenes tells you the split occurs at the same place on each ship. ODST was built with economy in mind. They reused what they could from Halo 3. Not sure it qualifies as trivia though. I thought it was common knowledge. We don't mention that the Scarab in ODST is a reuse of the Scarab from Halo 3 yet it is. :I know that ODST recycled/reused assets from Halo 3, but I think it is noteworthy since it is the ship was from the Legendary ending of Halo 3. If this trivia shouldn't be placed in this article, maybe place it somewhere in the Halo 3 campaign article perhaps? — Hacame 12:01, 11 June 2013 (EDT)
What? It's from the regular ending of Halo 3, post-credits. The front half crashes into the Indian Ocean and retrieval teams save the Arbiter and the aft half is adrift in space. The only difference with the Legendary ending is the extra 5 seconds or so seeing that the Dawn is drifting towards a Forerunner planet. The rest of the ending was there for all who stayed after the credits. I guess I'm still not seeing the significance of singling this one out when so many dozens of other reuses apply. :Wait, my bad. Proceed to facepalming... I meant the ending of Halo 3, not Legendary. Guess it's only me then. — Hacame 12:32, 11 June 2013 (EDT)
::I'd say it's noteworthy. It's different from all the other reuses because of the importance of the thing it's a reuse of. It's not super important but it's fairly interesting, I'd say it deserves a mention. :::I agree, I hadn't actually noticed until I read this here. It's reuse of a very unique thing. Alex T Snow (talk) 19:15, 12 June 2013 (EDT)
::OK, added some trivia about the reuse of the two types of Charon-class frigate models based on examining the game files. ScaleMaster117 (talk) 19:45, 12 June 2013 (EDT)
