{{subst:vehicles}} Why does it say that the vehicles are hinted at not to be taken canon? It suggests more that the shape of the vehicles and size of parts are given some freedom. Erickyboo (talk) 02:55, 8 July 2013 (EDT)

Hmm, I kind of agree. At first I thought that Frankie had hinted that the vehicles were not to be taken as canon, as stated in the article. But he merely stated that their "shapes" were not canon because of the Mega Blocks universe, which implies that it's like "super deformed". And when he says that the vehicles are created in collaboration with 343i, it sounds more like "It's canon, but the current look isn't" (similar to Halo Legends stuff) rather than "It's not canon but damn we still need to control Mega Bloks so they don't screw up anything". Basically, it hints that, for example, the VTOL craft is probably much bigger and the cockpit is different, etc. But I have to say it's still ambiguous. Imrane-117 (talk) 08:36, 8 July 2013 (EDT)
Well there is this http://blog.megabloks.com/posts/halo-reap-x-vehicles/ It works weird so you might want to paste the text into a word document but I took out the most important thing "These two vehicles are an awesome addition to the Mega Bloks Halo line – I personally love the VTOL. It may even be my favourite vehicle of the season. Developed hand-in-hand between 343 Industries and Mega Bloks, both REAP-X vehicles should be considered canon in the Halo universe. The same way REAP-X can be considered a canon division of ONI." Erickyboo (talk) 00:14, 10 January 2014 (EST)
And if one were to pay attention at the blog poster, one would know that the blog poster is not one of the staff of 343 Industries. Third parties, even if they are official parties to the franchise, do not determine what is canon and what is not. Also, the phrasing indicates use of precatory wording and not a definite affirmation that the vehicles are canon. — subtank 11:01, 10 January 2014 (EST)
What really caught my eye is that he refers to the "Covenant Remnant". I'd wager he found the term on Halo Nation, since they insist on capitalizing the title as if it's a proper in-universe name. Like Subtank said, Mr. Mega Bloks Rep has no hand in deciding what is and isn't canon. Frankie's statement that the vehicles kinda-sorta exist is the most definitive word on the matter we've had so far. --Our vengeance is at hand. Gravemind.svg (Talk to me.) 14:26, 10 January 2014 (EST)
