Talk:Z-750 binary rifle

From Halopedia, the Halo wiki

Unsure of Guideline

I don't mean to sound like a total and complete whiner-baby, but was the description of this weapon almost completely lifted from the Z-250 Lightrifle? If so, is this a rule violation or are we copacetic? I'm fine with it; I only noticed because I wrote the description for the Lightrifle page and recognised my wording. --Bruce2401 05:14, 13 September 2012 (EDT)

Totally fine by the rules. This is indeed how Halopedia operates: a user contributes and another will try and expand upon that contribution, though it would nicer if the editor puts in an edit summary where he nicked it from. :) — subtank 05:30, 13 September 2012 (EDT)
Let me go ahead and claim this. I pretty much copied and pasted the description everywhere simply because it was a good, well-written base to use for all the Forerunner weapons. Per Subtank, next time I "multi-copy" I'll put the "source" in the edit summary, but to be honest, it seems a tad bit tedious to do it considering that its not really "copyright" and is coming from the same source- Halopedia. Though, I think listing it once is good enough.--Killamint [Comm|Files] 18:58, 13 September 2012 (EDT)

Need more images

Hey, could someone somehow get a first-person image view of this weapon being used? I tried to do it myself, but the video on Halo Waypoint went way too fast for me to grab a screenshot. Could someone help out here? --Xamikaze330 23:19, 26 September 2012 (EDT)Xamikaze330

I managed to get a screenshot, but I fear it may not be as good as I'd like it to be. Hope it works, for now. --Xamikaze330 20:18, 27 September 2012 (EDT)Xamikaze330

Weapon Capabilities: Vehicle Destruction

I noticed it said it's capable of destroying most vehicles except Scorpions and Wraiths. But nothing about it being capable of destroying a Mantis exoskeleton. Anything, any information about that? I think it's important we add that to the article. --Xamikaze330 (talk|contribs) 22:15, 22 January 2013 (EST)Xamikaze330

One shot kill.

This isn't true. Even on Easy, it sometimes takes 2 hits to kill higher ranking Elites and Knights.66.87.4.171 17:13, 16 April 2013 (EDT)

Actually, it is generally yes, but usually only if it's a headshot. Anywhere else and it requires two shots, one a shield knockout hit, the next a follow-up killing blow. Oh, and by the way, the phrase is, "One shot, one kill". Or at least that's the way I've heard it said. --Xamikaze330 [Transmit|Files] 17:20, 16 April 2013 (EDT)Xamikaze330

I have made one shot kills (yes, that is another term xamikaze) on Heroic against weaker enemies. It pretty much doesn't happen on Legendary unless I get a headshot. It's funny how enemies don't drop the super gun of doom since they just shot the wall I was five feet away from me to kill me (worst comp shot on legend ever) and it looked like he didn't have time to set it to anti nothing mode.
