If the book mentions the title 2nd Lieutenant, then that could mean he is really a LTJG, but it could also mean he is an Ensign. It all depends on whether or not the authors accidentally confused the rank system for the Navy with another branch, i.e. they thought he was in the UNSC Air Force, so referred to him as a 2nd Lt. Is there any further clarification here? <small><span style="border: 2px solid black; -moz-border-radius:24px"><span style="background-color:darkgray; color:white; -moz-border-radius-topleft:24px; -moz-border-radius-bottomleft:24px">&nbsp;&nbsp;ΘяɪɸɴF22&nbsp;&nbsp;</span>style="background-color:darkgray; color:firebrick; -moz-border-radius-bottomright:24px; -moz-border-radius-topright:24px">&nbsp;&nbsp;Me&nbsp;&nbsp;</span><span style="background-color:darkgray; color:firebrick; -moz-border-radius-bottomleft:24px; -moz-border-radius-topleft:24px">&nbsp;&nbsp;Talk&nbsp;&nbsp;</span><span style="background-color:darkgray; color:firebrick">&nbsp;&nbsp;Contributions&nbsp;&nbsp;</span>style="background-color:darkgray; color:gold; -moz-border-radiusbottomright:24px; -moz-border-radius-topright:24px">&nbsp;&nbsp;<b>CAG</b>&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></span></small> 23:07, December 20, 2009 (UTC)

Fact Or FictionTalk[edit]

Does it say anywhere that these three are Jr Grade, doesn't it just state that they're Lieutenants?--Yamanba 04:47, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

Actually, I believe it is quite specific, at least about Keyes. I don't know about the other two. Perhaps if you are unsure, you should open the book and read instead of requiring others to do it for you. I don't have my copy of FoR, so I'll have to wait till tomorrow to ask UNSC AI #23 to cross check for me.--Rot 2135 10.12.06

"Lieutenant Junior Grade Jacob Keyes awoke." Halo: The Fall of Reach page 13. That good enough for you?--Rotaretilbo 23:39, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

pg. 282 of tFoR mentions the other two as Lieutenants (JG). It's specific. --Vlad3163 00:05, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

There are pictures in GoO[edit]

Really? Or do they just describe the badge for Lieutenant (Jr Grade)? -- Esemono 02:48, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

No pictures. A description is offered on page 64 of Halo: Ghosts of Onyx.
"Kurt opened the box. Inside were the single silver bar insignia of a lieutenant junior grade."
