I think we need to wait until there is a lot more info before we assume that what we saw in the Multiplayer cinematic was in 2552. I've seen everything from theories that it is, to that Earth is attacked by the Banished in 2559 and Multiplayer takes place several years later. We have no facts yet, only assumptions, and this site has always held a reputation for rigorous fact-checking. I myself remember having to prove extensively that a building in the Halo 5: Guardians opening cinematic was in fact a building and not a ship.
