Why do the writers of the Halo universe REPEATEDLY have characters address female superiors as "Sir"? (It occurred multiple times in the Mona Lisa short story, not to mention that the "sir" was also a Sergeant, who shouldn't be called "sir", either.) This NEVER happens in the actual military. It's actually quite disrespectful to use the wrong honorific, even accidentally. I know it's just a game and doesn't really matter, but still, this mistake undermines the writers' credibility. Had to say it. Big Bad Wolf 22:16, 2 September 2012 (EDT)
