Article Improvement Drive is a community project to improve the wiki's content through bringing articles in dire need of improvement—from cleanup to content expansion and updates—to everyone's attention. Ideally, the list will be refreshed with a new set of articles every week as the articles are fixed; however, if given articles on the list have not received the necessary attention by the end of this period, those articles will be kept on the list until they require no further improvement. An article is considered sufficiently repaired when it is properly sourced, accurate, comprehensive and well formatted—in short, up to our general standards of quality.

Everyone is welcome to participate in the improvement effort or suggest new articles to the list on the project's talk page.

General reminder: be sure to keep an eye on Catalog and incorporate any canon insights it may offer to the wiki, as well as add its new posts to the Archive.

Template:Walkthrough Infobox needs to be added to walkthrough articles lacking it.
The list of Forge objects needs to be updated to include all Halo 4-related material, including creation of subpages for each individual category.
Many Halo 4 multiplayer map articles need to be expanded with information on map layout, features and gameplay strategies. See Avalanche for reference of a comprehensive map article.
Game level transcripts need to be formatted in accordance with the the Layout Guide; for most articles, this means the standardization of the way characters and other subjects are referenced (e.g. omitting superfluous or overly long titles/ranks), as well as the addition of music tracks playing at a given time.
Quote pages need to be updated according to the Layout Guide. For example, insignificant lines which are not quotable in any fashion should be removed. In addition, quotes which are part of a dialog between the subject and another character should feature a transcript of the lines of both characters as opposed to only those spoken by the title character. For an example of this in practice, see Forthencho/Quotes.
Template:Soundtrack (transcluded in most articles under its old name "Halo music") needs to have a subtemplate specified in articles about individual music tracks; e.g. Halo: Combat Evolved tracks should use the {{Sountrack|H1}} template and so on (see the Sountrack template for a full list of the subtemplates). In case any of the articles has the parent category "Soundtrack" manually inserted, it should be removed as well along with other possible formatting improvements. Week 48 / 2014

Halo: The Master Chief Collection has been released, and along with it an influx of new content from the Halo 2 Anniversary terminals and Halo: Nightfall. As well, new information on Halo 5: Guardians, particularly the Multiplayer Beta, is currently being unveiled. Many articles pertaining to the new Halo novel, Halo: Broken Circle, are still in need of updates or yet to be created (you can find all affected articles listed here). Some articles of importance are listed below:

Terminal/Halo 2 Anniversary requires transcripts and other information on each terminal.
Many Halo: Broken Circle-related articles are still awaiting updates (or creation), including the following:
Halo: Nightfall needs a plot synopsis for Chapter Three upon its release on Tuesday. The following articles will also need updates:
Halo 5: Guardians and Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Beta along with all related pages (e.g. Spartan abilities and weapons) need to be kept up to speed with new information
Be sure to update all relevant articles with new information from Waypoint's new Universe section, although remember to use your own words as opposed to copying the content verbatim in accordance with the Manual of Style. The species entries in particular contain a fair amount of new information.
