Regional Differences?

I was just viewing the note added about the Meriwether Lewis attributed to Spartan Locke's Classified Orders. I own a Canadian version of the Limited Edition and I've seen no reference to Meriwether Lewis in either Locke's orders or Buck's file. Either I'm missing something from the Limited package or I'm missing some information in the US release because all the paperwork I got in the Canadian version has French on the reverse side. Will the Classified Orders content be included on Halopedia at some point? -ScaleMaster117 (talk) 10:58, 1 November 2015 (EST)

The US version makes no mention of Meriwether Lewis in English or in French. --Our answer is at hand. Gravemind.svg (Talk to me.) 12:41, 1 November 2015 (EST)
It apparently is on Buck's file. So maybe it is only on certain ones? Which is weird. --NightHammer(talk)(contribs) 19:02, 1 November 2015 (EST)
Can anyone upload a scanned image of this card? Mine definitely doesn't have it.--Emblem 1.jpg Rusty-112 Admin comm 20:02, 1 November 2015 (EST)
Buck's file. 88.120.49.44 20:22, 1 November 2015 (EST)
Huh, that's weird. So I guess only certain dossers ended up getting a proper back then? --NightHammer(talk)(contribs) 21:38, 1 November 2015 (EST)
Buck's file has several contradictions to established lore in it. For instance, how he now was on Circinius IV in 2526 despite not enlisting with the Marines until 2528 and, assuming that this list is in chronological order, he was on Harvest for ASTUTE TIGER presumably after his enlistment and into the Harvest Campaign. How do we reconcile these? -Mdbleach (talk) 19:20, 1 November 2015 (EST)

(reset indent) I'd say we could just assume "ABLE SENTRY" is an operation that took place after the battle at Circinius IV. The Covenant might have used the world as a staging ground or something (like Verge) and the UNSC wanted to conduct some operation there. Makes sense too since it is a reconnaissance operation for an upcoming operation (Operation: PHALANX). I'd say it's a safe assumption. --NightHammer(talk)(contribs) 22:28, 1 November 2015 (EST)

Just a thought, is it possible that only the Halo 5: Guardians Limited Collector's Edition contains information on the back but not on the normal Limited Edition? --NightHammer(talk)(contribs) 22:42, 1 November 2015 (EST)
I have the normal limited edition and informations are on both sides (for the US files only). 88.120.49.44 23:00, 1 November 2015 (EST).

Well I feel cheated. This is what I expected to get with mine, but it had no such content with it. Please upload the rest of the cards if you could. This is some fascinating stuff that adds a lot. -Japeth555

Yeah, I have the Canadian version with French on the back side. Don't really know why they bothered since the game itself isn't bilingual, and anyone who needed French materials would just be buying the French version anyway.--Emblem 1.jpg Rusty-112 Admin comm 23:48, 1 November 2015 (EST)
The French version of the limited edition gives two copies of the documents. One in English on both sides and one in French on one side and German on the other. The back side is therefore only in English. 88.120.49.44 00:13, 2 November 2015 (EST).

It is the law in Canada, anything in English is printed in French-Canadian as well since the country has two official languages. Alertfiend - Team Chief 23:53, 1 November 2015 (EST)

Back to this, I'm working on Osiris' articles now for Halo 5 and I'm wondering if Vale, Locke, and Tanaka (as well as Blue Team) have any new info on the back of their cards too. If anyone could help, that'd be great. --NightHammer(talk)(contribs) 23:07, 7 November 2015 (EST)

I can add pictures of their cards if you want. 88.120.49.44 15:22, 8 November 2015 (EST).
