While it's true that the story is just there to be wrapping for a fun little arcade game I wish it were more substantial. Even ''Spartan Assault''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s story, which was nothing to write home about, felt like it contributed more to the overall lore by at least using established characters. The story was also framed better, being grounded to a set location rather than centering on an inexplicable and interchangeable MacGuffin over many years. The credits tell us that the lead writer was a third-party contractor from a consulting firm which is a bizarre choice to say the least. Of course, this is all subject to change (to some extent) once I get around to playing Operation E, but I doubt it'll introduce anything so revolutionary as to turn the plot's presentation up until that point on its head. --[[User:Jugus|Jugus]] ([[User talk:Jugus|Talk]] | [[Special:Contributions/Jugus|Contribs]]) 10:21, 17 April 2015 (EDT)

== Jul 'Mdamas Covenant ==
I have a query. Just something that niggles me a bit. So in Halo: Spartan Strike, the Covenant in 2557, a.k.a. Jul's faction are depicted in the same way as the Covenant military from 2552 i.e. we have Elite Minors, Grunt Minors etc. in Jul 'Mdamas Covenant. Now, do we add these ranks to the Jul 'Mdama faction page or do we assume that due to lack of resources or whatever, that these ranks are actually supposed to represent equivalents in Jul's faction - Elite Minors are Storm Elites, Grunt Minors are Storm Grunts and so on. As the game's levels are played through a tactical simulator, the latter example might be true. But then again, Spartan Assault was also played through the Tac-Sim so...
