I heard "M4D", which seems more in line with current naming schemes. Do we have subtitles or something to confirm it? On another note, it looked to be an unpainted M6H rubber stunt prop. Alex T Snow (talk) 03:37, 23 November 2014 (EST)

:I always watch in subtitles. It's M40, I doublechecked to be sure. And yeah it was just a black M6H.Sith-venator Wavingstrider (Commlink) 04:13, 23 November 2014 (EST)

::I hate not having an Xbox One, because now when I suggest that some fonts make the D and 0 look too similar it's going to sound condescending instead of coming from genuine ignorance. More to the point, I don't know why, if it looks so close to a M6, why it needs to be a different model - I thought the point of the M6 series was that it had been in service for decades, if not longer, and was incredibly common. It wouldn't have been outlandish for an outer colony, even using second-hand or black market gear, to have them. -- Qura 'Morhek The Autocrat of Morheka 05:01, 23 November 2014 (EST)
:::Having watched the second stories, I definitely heard "M4D". It could be just the font like Morhek suggested, or the subtitles have a typo, as M4D sounds much more plausible for a weapon related to the M6 line than the totally random M40. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 13:21, 15 December 2014 (EST)
::::Yep, also heard M4D. Also, do we really need a page for 2356? It sounded like Horrigan was just exaggerating again. - NightHammer (talk) 21:25, 15 December 2014 (EST)
:::::Horrigan's comment definitely sounded like he was just blurting out something that sounded like a long time but might as well have been 100 or 300 years. Even assuming he was dead on with his estimate, it doesn't tell us when the weapon entered service, only a rough ballpark for when it could plausibly have been standard issue in the UNSC. So I don't think we really need a page for 2356. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 23:32, 15 December 2014 (EST)
::::::I agree on Horrigan's comment too, he was just being Horrigan. Seeing the screenshot that's definitely just an unpainted M6H rubber prop. Alex T Snow (talk) 23:58, 15 December 2014 (EST)
::::I heard "M4D" too; even I watched that second story in spanish, and Wisner clearly says "M4D".--They're coming. They're hungry. (talk) 14:30, 21 December 2014 (EST)
Wouldn't the Halo Encyclopedia tell you what it is? And can you at least get a screenshot of it? SamGall (talk) 09:18, 23 November 2014 (EST)
