Are we sure this is John-117? There is no actual verification as to who it is exactly. It is just a Mark VI model to me, not John in particular.--<span style="color:black; font-family:Verdana">Fluffy</span><span style="color:gray; font-family:Verdana">Emo</span><span style="color:black; font-family:Verdana">Penguin</span><small>(<span style="color:gray">ice quack!</span>)</small> 15:34, 28 December 2010 (EST)

:I question this being an easter egg at all. I believe it's more of a forgotten reference model than an egg for us to find. But you are at the very least, correct. Just like with the Cryo Chamber, we cannot actually determine if this is a "statue" of the Master Chief. XRoadToDawnX 13:05, 1 January 2011 (EST)

Glitch or easter egg?
I suggest that this page be renamed to "Lone Wolf Spartan glitch" or something of the like. This "statue" looks more like a leftover from production than a reference, it is untextured, extra small and it doesn't really mean much. Compare it to other easter eggs. The flyable pelican/phantom? Clearly left by Bungie as a treat to their fans. The Tribute Room? Obviously put in by Bungie. From wikipedia, "A virtual Easter egg is an intentional hidden message, in-joke or feature in an object such as a movie, book, CD, DVD, computer program, web page or video game." If you think about it, every other easter egg we know of is obviously intentional, but we have no reason to believe that this was intentional. And how is this a hidden message or joke? :Helloooo? Anyone care to comment? I would prefer a response. I will move this page unless someone has a better suggestion.DatrDeletr 09:10, 31 January 2011 (EST)

Easter Egg because it was intentionally placed there, glitch if it wasn't. And please don't force pseudo-threats like that again. :The latter most likely; a sound distinction between an easter egg and a glitch as provided by DatrDeletr. — <span style="font-size:120%; font-family:Palatino Linotype; font-style:italic;"><span style="color:#FF4F00;">subtank</span></span> 10:45, 31 January 2011 (EST)

::I'm inclined to agree with DatrDeletr and Subtank, it strikes me more as a forgotten reference than any sort of meaningful easter egg. XRoadToDawnX 21:41, 4 February 2011 (EST)

:::It definitely is an easter egg.  There is no other reason for there to be a Mark VI model in the map.  If it was a base model, such as Mark V [B], it might had been left by accident.  However, Mark VI is not a base model or render.  It is an easter, albeit small. - Anonymous 15:11, 8 February 2011 (EST)

::::It being the Mark VI model doesn't prove much of anything. Maybe Bungie was using it as a reference since they already had it. Plus, the fact that you can customize Noble Six may mean there isn't a typical default model. Also, as far as I remember, Bungie hasn't made any easter eggs that require the use of a glitch to see. Bungie's easter eggs always clearly show intent. From the fact that it is white to the fact that it is in its default pose shows this was more of a technical oversight than anything else. But still, how would that cause it to be a glitch?--Blahmarrow 18:50, 4 April 2011 (EDT)
:::I Agree with XRoadToDawnX with this one. seeing as how it's in the static, default pose, untextured and extremely small, it seems to me that it's just a Technical oversight. One of my Interesting, albeit, very unlikely theories is that this model might be a reference to randomly generate the armor permutations of the dead SPARTANs that you see strewn throughout the gameplay area, as with each play-through of that level, each dead SPARTAN has different armor permutations. But as I said it's just a theory as I have no solid evidence to go by. Kboy21 21:06, 8 October 2011 (EDT)
:The page has already been moved to a glitch, like sveral months ago...--光环的家伙 (H1234-NET) 00:46, 9 October 2011 (EDT)
