After decades of struggle between the Sangheili and San 'Shyuum in the Sangheili-San 'Shyuum War, the Sangheili finally accept that they must adapt and study their Forerunner relics or face defeat at the hands of the San 'Shyuum.[1] The Sangheili warrior priests reluctantly begin using their relics to improve their warships, arms and armor.[2]
