Template:Ship Class Infobox The Type-44 Troop Carrier, otherwise known as the Phantom by UNSC forces, is an earlier iteration of the well-known Type-52 troop transport Covenant troop carrier and gunship. They are used as troop transports and as both exoatmospheric and endoatmospheric gunships.

Crew and complement

The Phantom crew consists of a pilot and a weapons officer. The dropship can carry twenty to thirty passengers in its troop bay.

Armament

The Type-44 Phantom is armed with a T-44 DEW/M as its primary cannon, with two Type-52 DESWs as secondary weapons.
