Halo: Empty Throne is an upcoming Halo novel by longtime franchise writer Jeremy Patenaude. It was announced at the Canon Fodder Live event at the Halo World Championship on October 13, 2023. Originally announced to be released on July 30, 2024, it is set to release on December 17, after being pushed from its revised release dates of October 8, 2024 and December 10, 2024.[1][3]

An ancient access point hidden on a seemingly insignificant human colony has become the focus of a parallel effort to claim the Domain and its immeasurable capabilities.
