It was a pleasure working with the admin team to develop it.

Categorization
I noticed that on the Onan page, you used the syntax [[Category: UNSC]], rather than [[Category:UNSC]] I know it doesn't really make a difference, but I'm weird and obsess about it, and I would prefer if you didn't put a space there, so it's the same as with the actual category, since there's never a space after the prefix. Thanks! güéߣ¥-πéҐ∫øñ¥-†ħîИg¥ 00:55, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
- That's a rather strange request...but if you wish, I'll try to remember to do that. --ED(talk)(gaming) 01:11, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
- Hang on, this doesn't create two different categories does it? They're all still in the same one? -- Manticore Talk | CSV 04:19, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
- No, they both go to the same category, its just a matter of syntax. I don't even think you would know the difference unless you were editing an article and noticed the space. --ED(talk)(gaming) 04:30, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
- Ahh OK. I usually remove the space if I notice it while editing, but I don't really look for it. By the way, nice work on the Tactical Condition article! -- Manticore Talk | CSV 04:34, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

Your Bot
Don't worry, i'll still work on your bot. I'll just type with my left hand, i'm making it in notepad, so i can take my time and type one handed. It will be done, no worries sir! Although, i need to get the Polish tech support off their lazy butts and get them to fix some of Wikia's coding and improve the bot work.

I heard aboot your idea from RR--sounds really cool. I think if all the admins are fine with it we should start workin' on shovin' it togatha, eh? Also, apparently you emailed him aboot it, but I haven't been gettin' any of your emails anymore... I'm back, ya know. =D BTW, good work on the new Mombasa articles... /me hugs ED and H2 Vista. güéߣ¥-πéҐ∫øñ¥-†ħîИg¥ 21:37, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, I havent emailed anything to anyone since you got back, but if you support it, that makes all 4 of us. As for H2 Vista, I'm far from hugging it right now...its having a rather strange problem that is preventing me from getting on multiplayer! But yes it does give good screenshots. --ED(talk)(gaming) 22:06, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
- Oh, so that was before I got back... ok. As for H2 Vista, I was hugging it, and I was hugging you, so... not sure how that works without you and H2 Vista necessarily hugging, but somehow it does. =P So... can you join the IRC, if you aren't bizzy, and we can get to work on it, an' stuff? güéߣ¥-πéҐ∫øñ¥-†ħîИg¥ 22:11, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

You just completely pwned me when you cleaned up Liwitoni Station. Also, we should make an article for all the other stations that are mentioned in the announcements on Terminal (Level), just for completency stufflez, even if they aren't playable or anything. I'm also going to make articles on Sector B, Sector A, the Docks, and the City Centre from the road signs on Metropolis, so feel free to help clean those up and/or add info. =D güéߣ¥-πéҐ∫øñ¥-†ħîИg¥ 02:37, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
- I finished the city centre article as you sent me this message! OK, I'll work on the terminal sections while you do the city sections. --ED(talk)(gaming) 02:46, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
- Hmm... are you sure that's the city centre? 'Cause it says "city centre - 2 km" and you'd expect the city centre to be sorta like where the Space Elevator is, and all that stuff... I think the place with the tank that was killed by the Scarab is somewhere else, possibly part of Sector B, since the exits on either end of the NM 105 E are Sector B... or that might be laziness on Bungie's part, so... hmm.... I'm playing through Metropolis right now, so I think I'll start over and look at all the signs in a minute... I just finished fightin' in the vicinity of Terrabb. güéߣ¥-πéҐ∫øñ¥-†ħîИg¥ 03:01, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
Screenshots
Hey, can you take a good quality screenshot of the Mombasa Transit Authority Route Map on Terminal? Right now we have a pretty crappy quality version at Image:Terminalmap.PNG, so an update would be mucho appreciato. =D güéߣ¥-πéҐ∫øñ¥-†ħîИg¥ 05:00, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
How about that? I can't find the image in the map editor, and the light that lights it up in the level flickers, so i'm not sure if this one is much better. If you like I cant try to get the Blind Skull then take the pic so its bigger.--ED(talk)(gaming) 05:07, 29 June 2007 (UTC)

- Halopedia has always protected its policy pages. Its been a triadition since before we moved to wikia; my view is that policy pages on any wiki aren't part of the wiki and tend to get modified for the entire community to suit one user's agenda constantly. --ED(talk)(gaming) 03:18, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

- Well for starters, every screenshot from Halo, Halo 2 and Halo 3 needs proper copyright information. Bungie doesn't take kindly to copyright infringement. --ED(talk)(gaming) 23:32, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
- Use the screenshot subcats in the Image Categories, I'm pretty sure most/all of them contain only screenshots. We have a lot of images that have to be categorized manually, I'm sorry to say, but a bot can't do that...--ED(talk)(gaming) 23:37, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
- Well, I'm not sure the easiest way to make the bot only do stuff to things in those categories... meh, I'll figure it out.
Shutoff
Well, the bot only takes like ten minutes to do each task it's assigned, and I'm always here to turn it on, so I could shut it off, but I suppose I could put a block button there, just in case... =D güéߣ¥-πéҐ∫øñ¥-†ħîИg¥ 03:47, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

Korea
Do you think it would be better if we just called the article Korea, and mixed both North and South Korean information in there? CommanderTony 18:35, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
- The thing is, we don't even know if Korea exists anymore. The UNSC world is not nationalized, which is why Mombasa is part of the East African Protectorate. The nation it is in today (Kenya) doesn't exist anymore in Halo. For all we know, Korea could now be part of the "East Asian Protectorate" or "Western Pacific Protectorate" or something like that. The word "Korea" has yet to be stated. --ED(talk)(gaming) 18:38, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
- That is true, but on a number of occasions, Songnam, and the Kyonggi Province have been stated, both by Bungie, and in the HGN. So I think the Korea article should stay, but have both North and South Korean information in it, as well as acknowledge the fact that it could be part of a Protectorate. - Well, we just got them started today, but we're getting there... I know a bit of German (I can read quite a bit, actually), and I've messaged two native German speakers at Halobase (didn't want to post a new forum, in case they thought it was just spam). Phil.e. speaks fluent Spanish, and he's recruiting more people... and Forerunner and Chief frank 001, for starters, know French. That's what you meant, no? --GPT(talk)(eating) 00:51, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah... like most other language wikis, we probably won't be replicating them, but instead just doing as much as we can... thanks, we're gonna need it... I only know a moderate amount of German, but so far I'm doing it all by my lonesome, and it's all good, and I'm sure Phil.e. would appreciate any help he could get. =D Heh, also, check this out: LOL! --GPT(talk)(eating) 01:15, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
