For the game mechanics itself, it retains the similar gameplay at ''[[Halo: Spartan Assault]]'' such as splattering instant kill on a simple touch and technically unlimited ammo on a given area. The weapons become more varies than before but some change are made on the vehicle such as player can fire Warthog while driving albeit reduced rate of fire and destroying vehicle debris now require a certain speed such as Grizzly cannot destroy Wraith or Scorpion debris if move too slow.
