According to non-canonical blog posts by ''[[Halo Wars]]'' writer Graeme Devine, Tigard is in the northern regions of the planet, near a [[Forerunner]] [[Relic]]. During the glassing of the planet by the [[Covenant]] it became an inhospitable wasteland.
