When the UNSC ''Spirit of Fire'' mysteriously arrived at the installation, Decimus ordered 'Saham to defend the Ark's teleportation grid which the Banished had been using to transport materiel. However, following the destruction of the ''Enduring Conviction'' and the realization that the UNSC intended to capture the Halo ring within the Ark's Forge, 'Saham was given command of a Scarab and assigned to guard one of the access points to ring. Ultimately, 'Saham was killed by Spartan-II Douglas-042, who hijacked the Scarab and used it to gain entry to Halo installation.}}<noinclude>
