Right now we have eleven users with admin rights (including two staffers who have/had the right for testing/technical purposes). Two of these, Esemono and Porplemontage, haven't been around in quite some time. I feel its best we remove their flags so that a) Listusers is kept up-to-date, and b) new users don't try contacting them to perform admin tasks (via their talk pages or by email). On the off-chance they decide to return, I am happy to restore their rights and/or direct them to RfA; whatever the community decides.

Please state below if you object to this for either user. If there are no major objections within one week I will ask Wikia Staff to remove these users' rights.

Thanks,

Manticore (talk) 01:23, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Given there have been no objections Angela has removed their rights on my request. -- Manticore (talk) 08:42, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

Esemono

Esemono hasn't been around since May 2007, almost a year ago.

Objections

User:Porplemontage

Porplemontage hasn't edited since May 2007, and hasn't used his admin tools since July 2006 (mainly performing imports during the merge to Wikia).

Support -- I will only support this if Manticore in fact does give them back their status right away, or from an RfA when and if they come back. Cadet Corporal Stubblefield, Platoon SergeantTalk 5/03/2008

Support -- I've often wondered how much they get spammed with n00bs asking for a userbox, or how to get Recon. And since they haven't been here for quite a while, I have to agree. --Specops306, Kora 'Morhek 01:37, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

I see no reason as to why n00bs spam them with making userboxes. I live by my code: check the help page, then ask. --Blemo TALK CONTRIBUTIONSEMAILMESSAGE 02:48, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

You should ask the wikia staff first if they would actually do this. They have so far resisted any moves on our part to remove admin tools for anyone without very good reasons, and I recall a recommendation like this being turned down by them a year or so ago. --ED 17:25, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

What about GPT? He resigned, so is he going to be taken off the list? - General simon rjh 17:47, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
He was on the IRC not that long ago, from what I hear he is planning to come back, but not for a while. I'm not sure if we await his return and keep his admin rights, or send him to an RfA when he returns. Pryo 'Zarkum My COM My Work My Story 19:11, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

GPT's comeback just on IRC was actually just a "Visit" to us though. He also said that he's unable to bear adminship responsiblities again just yet. Dark Neptune 07:00, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
GPT's got some issues, so he won't be back in an admin position for a while. He may return if he is hired by wikia. -- Cadet Staff Sergeant LewisMy Comm LineWhat I've done 15:29, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Hired by Wikia? Lulz. The reason I haven't included GPT in this proposal is because there are different circumstances in play. If we were going to have his adminship revoked; it wouldn't be because of inactivity. -- Manticore (talk) 16:21, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
