Ben Nauk is one of the fifteen planets in the Nov Thasta system.[1] It was one of the three planets in the system colonized by the Human Ancestors.[2][3]

Unlike Charum Hakkor, Precursor ruins were not present on Ben Nauk.[2]

Ancestors historyEdit
The Ancestors had colonized Ben Nauk, along with Charum Hakkor and Faun Hakkor,[3] while the rest of the planets in the system were mined for ores and volatiles.[2] The planet fell alongside the other planets to the Forerunners during the Human-Forerunner wars.[2]
Forerunner returnEdit
Around 97,445 BCE, while investigating Charum Hakkor after it was devastated by the firing of Gyre 11 around 97,495 BCE, the Didact mentioned Ben Nauk as one of the planets in the system humans settled. The planet was scanned where it was apparently to the Didact it not compelling from a distance, but was about to say something contrasting that before being cut off.[2]
