The Splinter Turret was first introduced in ''[[Halo 5: Guardians]]'' as a Forerunner counterpart to the {{Pattern|Shea'p|plasma cannon}} and [[M49 Vulcan]] turrets used by the [[Jul 'Mdama's Covenant|Covenant]] and [[United Nations Space Command|UNSC]], respectively. It acts as a [[support weapon]] in a similar capacity to the aforementioned designs. In [[Warzone]], the Splinter Turret [[List of REQ cards|REQ card]] is a Rare {{Energy|2}} Power Weapon REQ worth {{RP|100}} when sold.
