==History==

In [[2513]] the [[HRUNTING Mark III (B) Cyclops]] [[powered exoskeleton]] was developed by the facility's [[Project HRUNTING|HRUNTING research team]].{{Ref/Reuse|EVG}} Decades later{{Ref/Reuse|EVG}} the [[HRUNTING/YGGDRASIL Mark I ADS|Mark I powered exoskeleton]] was developed by the HRUNTING team in conjunction with the related [[Project YGGDRASIL]].{{Ref/Reuse|prototype}}

Near the end of the [[Human-Covenant War]] in early [[2549]], Algolis was [[Algolis Invasion|attacked]] by the [[Covenant]],{{Ref/Book|Enc22|Page=50}} resulting in a demolitions unit of the [[UNSC Marine Corps]], nicknamed the "[[Hades Corps]]", being deployed to T12A to enact the [[Cole Protocol]] and destroy any classified research at the base - including the Mark I ADS prototype.{{Ref/Site|URL=http://halo.xbox.com/en-us/Universe/Detail/algolis/c37d512a-eed7-44c0-bc3b-eb5b362b3160|Site=Halo Waypoint|Page=Algolis|D=05|M=07|Y=2012|LocalArchive=Archive:Halo Waypoint/2009 to 2014/Universe/Locations#Algolis}} During the fighting, a Marine nicknamed "[[Ghost (Marine)|Ghost]]" used the HRUNTING/YGGDRASIL Mark I exoskeleton housed inside the facility to fend off Covenant forces in a desperate last stand. After the surviving civilians and Marines evacuated the facility via {{Class|Banta|transport}} craft, Ghost initiated the [[self-destruct]] sequence of the exoskeleton's [[nuclear fission]] reactor to prevent the capture of the suit's technology. The resulting nuclear blast obliterated the facility along with all Covenant ground forces in the area.{{Ref/Reuse|prototype}}
