The ''Proclamation's Tithe'' was sent to intercept the {{UNSCShip|Spirit of Fire}} after its arrival inside [[Trove]]. Despite attempted evasive maneuvers, the two ships collided, causing significant damage to the ''Spirit of Fire'', including destroying a portion of its supply of [[D20 Heron]]s, while minimal damage was done to the destroyer, due in part to its shields. The two ships soon opened fire on each other, the destroyer quickly destroying many of the ''Spirit of Fire's'' deck guns.{{Ref/Reuse|freefall}} It soon sent out [[Type-26 Ground Support Aircraft|Banshees]] and [[Taaku Xur-pattern Spirit|Spirits]] to continue the assault and destroy the ''Spirit of Fire''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s damaged power core. However, the ''Spirit of Fire'', despite the heavy assault, managed to repair its power core and escape.{{Ref/Reuse|repairs}}

The valor and sacrifice of the destroyer's crew would later be rewarded by the [[Prophet of Regret]] who, upon his return to [[High Charity]], had the names of every crew member both living and dead restored to the [[rolls of honor]] within the Covenant archives.{{Ref/Reuse|CF}}

 

The ''Proclalmation's Tithe'' appears primarily in the ''[[Halo Wars]]'' level [[Repairs]], primarily serving to bombard the player's units with its broadside plasma cannons. However, in the early planning of ''Halo Wars'', a [[Cut Halo Wars levels|cut level]] was planned in which the player would then board the ''Tithe'' and destroy its engine compartment, in a similar fashion to the levels aboard ''Spirit of Fire''.
