'''Dawkins''' was an [[Orbital Drop Shock Trooper]] stationed on the {{UNSCShip|Pillar of Autumn}} during the [[Fall of Reach|Battle of Reach]], and the [[Battle of Installation 04]] during the [[Battle over Installation 04|space battle]]. They were a member of [[First Lieutenant]] [[Melissa McKay]]'s unit. They were killed in action when the [[Covenant]] intercepted and boarded the ship.{{Ref/Reuse|HTFC1}}

On September 19, after the ''Pillar of Autumn'' left slipspace, the Covenant intercepted and boarded the ship starting the [[Battle over Installation 04]]. The ships ODST contingent were assigned to defend the ships experimental powerplant from the invaders, Dawkins alongside [[Al-Thani]], and [[Suzuki]] were killed during the skirmishes on the ship. When the platoon's medic [[Valdez]] was looking over McKay's injuries, he tried to use humor to get her mind off Dawkins and the others' deaths.{{Ref/Reuse|HTFC1}}
