Probably something like Halo Fanon's look, with its backgrounds of the galaxy and starry sky. Or maybe akin to the look we had when Halo: Reach came out. Trying to find a picture of it. :Now that I think about it, the site's default theme could use some touching up - not necessarily in the dark department (don't really like the trend of light text on a dark background) but making it slicker and more generally evocative of the Haloverse and its visual motifs. The current look is rather generic: what we'd be looking for is a more unique visual identity that somehow conveys that this is a Halo site (apart from the banner and the site logo). For example, having subtle linings and banners with Forerunner-ish angle patterns (not overdone, though - we're not 343i's art department after all). Something as simple as sharper angles might do the trick. The main page could also be more visually exciting than just text - again, not something super invasive that assaults your senses the moment you enter the site, but something calm and professional that invites you to stick around and explore. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 01:37, 19 February 2014 (EST)

::That sounds like a good idea. Pages in the "Needs Updating" category could be placed in some kind of rolling banner to alert editors on what needs work. So that they're not merely found by a few people who feel like sinking hours into a page, but can be collectively repaired. :::Since there's clearly a lot of potential in this idea, should we start a new forum entry just to have a sort of "think tank" type exchange of ideas to better crystallize what we're looking for and/or to get the project rolling, or just do that here? These things have a tendency of getting buried and forgotten; one example being the last time I suggested something like this, which was maybe 3-4 years back. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 01:37, 19 February 2014 (EST)
