During the [[Battle of Earth]] on [[2552#November|November 17th, 2552]], Sector Six was the site of an engagement between the UNSC and the [[Covenant Loyalists]]. [[Orbital Drop Shock Trooper]]s [[T. Rymann]] and [[S. Hartley]] were ordered there to retrieve a [[UNSC Laser Designator|laser designator]] and use it to track [[John-117|SPARTAN-117]]'s fall into atmosphere. Unfortunately, the [[Covenant Empire|Covenant]] had a significant presence in the area.<ref name="combat"/>

The ensuing battle met with heavy casualties on the behalf of both [[UNSC Marine Corps|UNSC Marine]] and [[Jiralhanae]] forces. Bravo-21 was killed by a [[Jiralhanae Chieftain]] wielding a [[Type-2 Energy Weapon/Hammer|Gravity Hammer]], after he flanked a column of [[Jiralhanae Minor]]s and tried to hold them off with a [[SRS99D-S2 AM Sniper Rifle]].
