Turn on the Catch, Thunderstorm, Piñata and Boom skulls on legendary difficulty. As the Flood cannot use grenades and only have a single rank, Catch and Thunderstorm are free bonus multipliers. Smack the Flood spores to get plasma grenades and keep your distance from Flood carrier forms as Boom increases their blast radius as well. As long as you don't die too many times, you should get enough points without factoring in the time bonus.
