::: Wouldn't that simply contribute to weapon redundancy, an issue that is currently plaguing ''Halo 4'' and possibly ''Halo 5''? Spartan-laser-esque sniper weapon? Sounds like the beam rifle/focus rifle. Human melee weapon based on reverse-engineered energy sword? Essentially an energy sword but more of a human design. These two essentially spell out redundant additions to the weapon sandbox. If anything, change the mechanics of the weapons. For example, BR/DMR/MA5 are capable of firing burst, single shot or full-auto. Assign that to the D-pad and let the users choose the fire rate. Return stun effect to plasma rifles and pistols.
