Sometime following the [[Battle over Installation 07|defeat]] of [[Cortana]] at [[Installation 07]] in late [[2559]], Carinae was the subject of a [[FIREWALL contingency|simulation]] conducted by [[Sloan]], [[High Auxiliary]] of the remnant [[Created]] forces. In the simulation, Carinae housed the [[Durance]] containing [[SPARTAN-IV program|Spartan]] [[Edward Davis]]' memories and essence, with [[the Executor]] tasked with attacking the station to recover the durance.
