He was supposed to be on the lookout for threats to the landing zone of a Covenant cruiser, but fell asleep on duty. He woke up dropping an expensive Covenant [[Motion Scanner]]. It still worked, so he was very grateful. He spotted three [[Banshee]]s, but ignored them, because he thought that his commanding [[Sangheili]] officers might be angered, had it been a waste of time.<ref>'''[[Halo: First Strike]]''' page 26</ref>
