Halo Fanfic
I am working on a fanfic project. I still can't think of a cool name (like Halo: The Bane...that's a good name...go ED! wish I could think of something cool like that), so for now we'll call it Halo: Rot's Novel. I recently finished Section I, so it is about 9000 words long (I know, pathetic in comparison with some, but for me this is pretty long). It is about the Battle of Eridanus II, which is rather overlooked in the actual novels. I think that something like the battle for John-117's homeworld (whether he grew up there or not) would be something important, but John-117 doesn't seem to care in Halo: First Strike, so I am writing the novel. It takes place in 2530 (like it says in First Strike). It follows the story of several marines, several ships, and some Covenant (I tried to get mutliple PoVs going, similar to how Halo: The Flood and Halo: First Strike were done). Someday when I actual finish it and stop editing it, I'll start posting it, like a weekly update or something.
