Run-on sentence

This sentence in Overview section needs to be reworked. I'd do it but im not entirely sure what its trying to say:

Overview

The scanning device was utilized by the team of SPARTAN-IIs, consisting of John-117, Frederic-104, Solomon-069, and Arthur-079 during the Raid on the Third Fleet of Glorious Consequence, using EVA Booster Frames. It was used to track the signal frequency of the package, but the Covenant commander of the fleet was able to fool the Booster Frame's sensors and make it appear as if there are multiple signals that, incidentally, lead to multiple traps, because the false signals are decoys, and that the Covenant knows what the SPARTANs had come for, and that the real signal is coming from the Covenant flagship.

If you dont think it is a confusing sentence, then i at least suggest it be broken down some. --71.131.183.194 09:36, 18 May 2011 (EDT)
