I understand that Elites <u>can</u> pilot seraphs, but in the instances where they're used wouldnt it make more sense to have grunts or even jackels contol them. They must lose tons of these per engagement and this does not fit the role Elites play in the Covenant.

:I think it's a matter of trust. Letting Grunts use Ghosts on the ground is one thing - letting them use highly advanced and capable spacecraft is another thing entirely. Remember, Grunts are given minimal training and fielded in mass numbers - Elites are specialists, given the best equipment and using the best weaponry. As for the Jackals - nobody's doubting their capability, its a matter of loyalty. When a soldier's willingness to follow orders is based on potential profit, you tend to not want them covering your back (or ships, as the case may be). -- <b><font color=indigo>Specops306</font></b> <u><i><font color=blue>Autocrat</font></i></u> <u><i><font color=purple>Qur'a 'Morhek</font></i></u> 02:11, August 6, 2010 (UTC)

The article states that there are Seraphs in Halo 5: Guardians. I know this to be true. If you look up during the Battle of Sunaion they can be seen warping into battle and flying past each other. Can anyone get a close-up image like the ones in the other games or at least a screenshot? I'm unable to do this myself at the moment. Thanks :). == Fuel Rod Cannon Weapon? ==
I dont know if anyone knew this, but the Seraph actually has a secondary fuel rod weapon in reach. Unless that is what the Plasma Charge is supposed to be, I think it should be mentioned. This link is the proof: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PxdEFyRMd8Q
Yes, I know the AI never used it and you cant use it when you glitch to get the Seraph the legit way, but Bungie most likely programmed the fuel rod mechanic into the game with the intentions of creating space battles in multiplayer before time constraints forced them to cut it out (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/278095/early-halo-reach-had-multiplayer-space-battles/). Regardless, I think it still deserves to be mentioned. Even the space banshee has a fuel rod weapon labeled, so why not the seraph? --SilentGamer64 07:54, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
:In Reach, the Seraph in player control is merely a Banshee, but with a different body. But seeing as the player is never meant to control a Seraph in Halo Reach, the fuel rod cannon is probably not canon. Might be an idea for a glitch page though ;) -CIA391 (talk) 10:22, 23 May 2017 (EDT)
Split page?
Now that we know there are two different models of Seraphs with at least slightly different specifications and performance, should we give each pattern their own page? Or at least a pattern-section where the differences between the two can be better-conveyed?
