So far, super-destroyers have only been encountered in operations taking place primarily in vacuum, such as the Battle of Harvest, as opposed to planetary defense missions. This may mean that it is designed specifically for ship-to-ship combat, unlike {{Class|CCS|battlecruiser}}s and [[Covenant destroyer|destroyers]], which are also used for [[glassing]] operations.
